Glasgow-born TV presenter Lorraine has shared a throwback picture to celebrate the 40th year anniversary of TVam.
The 63-year-old posted the snap on Instagram, sporting a tartan outfit in the 80s picture. The presenter returned to screen this morning (February 1), chatting about the throwback snap and the fond memories it brought her with the Good Morning Britain team ahead of her 9am ITV show.
The picture, feature a youthful look Lorraine alongside Mike Morris, she said: "FORTY years ago saw the launch of TVam. I started as Scottish correspondent in 1984 - and lucky enough to present the show from 1989 with Mike Morris - a kind, lovely fella and a total pro.

"Sadly missed. Golden Days. #tvam #friends #joy #breakfast #goodmorning."
In response, people loved seeing the picture of a younger Lorraine with one saying: "I remember I copied your hair! Did you rely on that telephone before computers were invented?"
Another said: "You have not changed at all."
"I remember those days, I was 20! I wish I had aged as gracefully as you have Lorraine xx" commented a third.
Lorraine was born in the Gorbals area of Glasgow in 1959, and spent some time in the city before moving to East Kilbride, where she attended Claremont High School.
She turned down an opportunity to study English and Russian at university and instead, threw herself into the world of local journalism and began working at the East Kilbride News.
She later joined BBC Scotland as a researcher in 1983 and moved to television in 1984, covering Scottish news. And it wasn't long before she became a household name, gaining recognition across the UK before landing her own morning TV show.
