Lorraine Kelly has said that she's "in awe" of Deborah James as she revealed her co-star has raised over £7million for charity.
Earlier this month, Deborah revealed that she was in hospice care and that she is spending time her last days surrounded by family and friends.
Following the heart-breaking announcement, Deborah called for people to buy her a drink and donate the money to her Bowel Babe fund.
Deborah has raised an incredible amount for Cancer Research UK and has been honoured with a damehood, which was presented by Prince William as they enjoyed a champagne afternoon tea together.
Dr Hilary Jones joined Lorraine on her ITV show today as he said: "She's incredible and she's always got that smile on her face."
Deborah also recently launched a clothing line - which includes the dress she wore for the Duke of Cambridge - to raise even more money for charity.
"She never stops with these ideas," Dr Hilary said.
The podcast host has also given permission to Channel 4 bosses to air her final TV appearance on Embarrassing Bodies if she dies before the episode is on TV.
"She wanted to do Embarrassing Bodies because it's reaching a much younger audience," Lorraine explained.
Going on to discuss the fund update, Lorraine added: "I'm in awe, I'm in total awe all the time."
Earlier this month, Deborah shared a heartbreaking post with her followers on Instagram, as she admitted her body "wasn't playing ball" and she explained she had come off "active care".
"The message I never wanted to write. We have tried everything, but my body simply isn’t playing ball. My active care has stopped and I am now moved to hospice at home care, with my incredible family all around me and the focus is on making sure I’m not in pain and spending time with them.
"Nobody knows how long I’ve got left but I’m not able to walk, I’m sleeping most of the days, and most things I took for granted are pipe dreams. I know we have left no stone unturned. But even with all the innovative cancer drugs in the world or some magic new breakthrough, my body just can’t continue anymore."
