Everyone's favourite maître d' First Dates Fred Sirieix had a wholesome moment on Lorraine Kelly's ITV show discussing his first love.
Fred, 50, appeared on the ITV breakfast show to promote his new show, First Teen Dates, airing on Channel 4 later this week.
During his chat with the 62-year-old Scots presenter, Fred reminisced of the innocence and fun of finding your first love and told viewers about his from when he was just 18.
This is the second series of the spin-off show providing viewers at home some much needed light-hearted entertainment.
On her ITV show today, Lorraine introduced Fred: "Now he's returning to our screens tomorrow night, but this time the match making maître d' Fred Siriex is helping teenagers find love."
After watching a sweet clip ahead of the new show, Lorraine gushed: "Aw Fred, they're lovely. They're just lovely. It's that sort of innocence, and first love.
"It's just great, very emotional. You got quite emotional didn't you?"
Speaking on the show, Fred said: "You got it bang on Lorraine, its the innocence of finding your first love.
"When we were filming that series, I took myself back to when I was 18, and in fact I was at my parents' place last week, and they found a box of pictures, and there was this one photo of me."
"I had fallen madly in love with this girl.
"It was the summer season and I was working with her in the same restaurant, and after two weeks we started to go out together.
"You know that moment, it's first love, you've got no worry, no plan, no futures and you just exist in that present moment."
Gesturing to the screen behind him, Fred says: "In fact look this was this picture."
Lorraine gushed: "Oh look at you! You were very trendy."
He added: "This is that exact picture, and I was going on a date with her, and I was wearing a jacket that at the time was worth 2000 French francs, which is £500 in today's money!
"At the time, life was perfect as I was working all the time, getting money and finding myself.
“When I see these kids coming to my restaurant, arriving and meeting their dates, I feel like I am their wisdom because I know what it's like to be that age at 18 and to be figuring life out.
“It isn't always about finding your first love on your first date, but it's about discovering yourself, meeting new people, and to get out of your comfort zone, and do something you wouldn't normally do."
First Teen Dates airs this week and will follow the same format of the original First Dates show with Fred Siriex hosting the front of the house in the restaurant.
It will have blind date pairings of 16-19-year-olds as they take their first steps into the land of real-world dating.
You can watch Teen First Dates, featuring Fred Siriex, on Channel 4 tomorrow night, February 23, at 9pm.
