Lorraine Kelly has paid tribute to Tom Parker after his death at the age of 33.
The Wanted singer had been battling an aggressive form of brain cancer but yesterday evening it was announced he had sadly died.
The heartbreaking news was shared by his wife Kelsey Parker, 32 - whom he has two young children with - in an emotional tribute posted to social media.
The musician is reported to have spent his final moments surrounded by his family, friends and bandmates, who have been left "devastated" by his death.
Celebrities and fans across the globe have been sharing their sadness at the loss of the popular star.
This Morning Lorraine Kelly said on her ITV breakfast show that Tom was an 'absolutely fantastic man'.
She added: "He was quite extraordinary.
"He lived with his cancer with such grace."
Tom was diagnosed with the incurable glioblastoma in 2020 had been fighting the disease with the help of his wife Kelsey and specialist care.
The Sun has reported that he chose to play the Oasis song Live Forever as he passed away surrounded by his loved ones.
The outlet states that during his last moments the father-of-two had the 1994 track playing out loud, with a source commenting on the significance of the song choice.
The source commented: "You might have thought Tom would opt for something by The Wanted but Oasis' Live Forever sums him up perfectly - he was a rockstar."
They said that's how "he wants to be remembered," adding that the track is a "real anthem to strength and defiance", with some of the lyrics speaking to his experience.
The source further commented: "Like the track says, Tom really will live forever in his children, his fans and his music."
The Wanted stars Jay McGuiness, Siva Kaneswaran, Max George and Nathan Sykes put out a joint statement on Instagram following the devastating news.
The lads wrote: "Max, Jay, Siva, Nathan and the whole Wanted family are devastated by the tragic and premature loss of our bandmate Tom Parker, who passed away peacefully at lunchtime today surrounded by his family and his band mates.
"Tom was an amazing husband to Kelsey, and father to Aurelia and Bodhi.
"He was our brother, words can’t express the loss and sadness we feel. Always and forever in our hearts."
They ended: "Tom Parker 1988-2022".
