Loose Women viewers convinced Coleen Nolan and Denise Welch ‘hate each other’

Loose Women stars Coleen Nolan and Denise Welch have had a tense exchange this week, leaving fans convinced the pair “hate each other.”

The ITV stars were joined on Tuesday by co-stars Christine Lampard and Linda Robson to discuss several topics, most notably, friendship. While discussing the idea that a woman only needs one good friend in her life, Denise revealed she was in the process of trying to organise a get together with her fellow panelists.

She said: "We've said we're longing to get together and talk about stuff we never talk about here, but let's put a pencil on it because you make more of an effort if you've got it in the diary somewhere."

Coleen replied: "But then I just cancel! I don't wanna sit and chat to you, I chat to you here!"

To which Denise coldly responded: "Well, you're not even invited, so..."

Coleen then snapped back, saying: "I don't wanna come!" before co-star Linda revealed Coleen is absent from the Loose Women WhatsApp group.

Following this, viewers quickly took to social media to give their verdict on the heated exchange. One viewer tweeted: "The tension between Coleen and Denise is so obvious."

“I’d pay to see Coleen and Denise fight each other, you can tell they clearly don’t like each other," said another.

A third simply wrote: "Denise and Coleen hate each other"

This is not the first time rumours have circulated around supposed bad blood between the panelists, as Coleen was forced to rebuke claims of a falling out with Ruth Langsford in 2020. Responding to a story in Woman’s Own magazine, Coleen wrote on Twitter: "We don't usually comment on magazine covers but this one is beyond ridiculous – Coleen and @RuthieeL are brilliant friends.

“We haven't seen the story inside but if it is the same as the cover – suggesting there's an issue between these two then it's completely made up!"
