ITV's Loose Women had a blast from the past this week as former presenter Kate Thornton returned to the show as a guest. However, despite the fun being had between the panellists, Ruth Langsford had to step in and bring Tuesday's programme to an abrupt end.
Ruth was apologetic as she awkwardly brought the curtain down on the episode on April 25. The topics on the agenda ranged from 'cheating' grandmas to the latest news stories of the day. The latter stages of the programme saw Kate take her seat on the panel with host Ruth at the helm and co-hosts Brenda Edwards, Coleen Nolan and Janet Street-Porter joining in the conversation.
Kate, a former Loose Women anchor for the ITV lunchtime show, walked on to the show an hour in, to the sounds of Wham classic Wake Me Up (Before You Go Go). Kate and the panel then immersed themselves in some 80s nostalgia, as they reminisced about the music and the fashions of the decade.
