Loose Women's Nadia says not everyone can be 'lovely' as she addresses feud rumours

Loose Women's Nadia Sawalha has opened up about the rumoured feud between the panellists.

The ITV presenter discussed rumours of an ongoing feud between some of her co-stars during a frank chat with today's panellists - Charlene White, Katie Piper and Linda Robson - on the ITV lunchtime show. The group answered a string of quickfire questions, with one being about how it works backstage and who chooses who will sit next to who on the show.

There had been rumours that some panellists didn't get along with one another, but they have been constantly denied. As they chatted about their friendship backstage and the layout of the show, Nadia admitted that they "can't just have everyone that's lovely, lovely, lovely" as she explained how important a mix of people was for the show.

Answering the question, today's anchor said: "There's only one answer to that, it's our Head of Women."

To which Nadia added: "What a lot of people don't realise is that until we get in, there's no show.

"It's our thoughts, our feelings. Obviously guests have to be booked ahead but it's a collaborative thing between producers and Loose Women each morning, which makes it so unique and exciting."

Charlene insisted that none of them had specific seats - but confessed some do have favourites.

"I know some people will say they can't sit that person next to that person, but it doesn't work in that way at all," she replied, as Nadia chimed in to insist not everyone could be lovely, or that wouldn't make a good show.

Speaking on the programme today, she added: "Well you've got to have a good mix of people; you can't just have everyone that's lovely, lovely, lovely, you've got to have a mix. Just think of it like All Bar One lunchtime."

Coleen was thought to be at the centre of the feud drama, but she insists everyone is really "supportive" and they all get along well.

She told OK! Magazine: "Oh it really hurt. The girls have been so supportive – besides, none of us on Loose Women have ever said we wouldn’t work with anyone else. It was just so upsetting.

"Brenda, Ruth and Janet are the ones I’m always talking to. But I love Christine Lampard. I left her out last time and she said, 'I thought I was your friend!' I get on with all of them. I would never refuse to work with anybody."
