Kaye Adams was left visibly moved on Monday's Loose Women after a 'tough to watch' video played in the opening moments of the ITV show.
Former news journalist Kaye was at the head of the panel as the lunchtime discussion show returned for another week, sitting alongside colleagues Denise Welch, Gloria Hunniford and Janet Street-Porter. The show opened with a chat on whether the rise of apps to pay for things like parking was alienating the less tech savvy people in the population, before Kaye introduced a clip of boxing legend Chris Eubank talking about the death of his son on new Channel 4 show Scared of the Dark.
Sebastian died while in the sea in Dubai in 2021, having suffered "massive heart attack" that was linked to a pre-existing heart condition that his family was unaware of.
In the video, Chris was left overcome as he said: "The tragedy of losing a son who is 29. Imagine crying that hard and then months later being grateful that you cried that hard for your son. It wasn't one tear, it was an ocean," before he breaks down in tears on camera.
As the camera cut back to the studio and onto Kaye, she looked genuinely moved by what she'd just watched remarking, "Gosh that was quite tough to watch," before Gloria recalled how rocked with grief she was when her daughter Caron Keating passed away in 2004 at the age of 42, after a battle with breast cancer.
Confiding in her Loose Women colleagues, Gloria said she thought she'd 'never laugh again' after Caron's death, before Denise opened up about ow she can all of a sudden can be so by overcome by grief over the death of her parents, that she had to pull her car over a sob.
