Loose Women's Kaye Adams admits to having secret dance lessons before Strictly appearance

Kaye Adams has revealed she paid for dance lessons ahead of her stint on Strictly Come Dancing.

The Loose Women panellist is gearing up to take to the BBC ballroom dancing stage alongside professional partner Kai Widdrington. Speaking to Woman & Home magazine: "Pre-Strictly, I downloaded a dancing app of this Russian teacher based in America. I thought I was getting it on a trial, but I ended up paying for it!"

The 59-year-old shared a hilarious story to social media, where she detailed a personal medical problem she's battling alongside her training. Taking to Instagram, Kaye wrote: "Nadia Sawalha asked me how the training is going. I said 'my Tena-lady runneth over,'" referring to incontinence pads, designed to help those who suffer from bladder weakness.

Referring to her partner Kai, 27, Kaye said: "Poor guy is so young he hasn't got a clue what I'm on about!!" to which Kai replied: "I still don't know what this means."

Fans were amused by Kai's confusion, writing: "Ignorance is bliss sometimes," and "You don't wanna know about pelvic floors!" While another quipped: "Ask your mum!"

Kaye has been training hard for her second performance on the show, and felt defeated after a hard days training telling fans she's 'too old for all this'. On her Instagram she shared footage of herself lying in the bath and she wrote: "Remember last week I said my body was fine, it was just my brain? Well this week is a very different story...

She then said: "I never have baths, I hate baths I can't remember the last time I had a bath, day two of training and I'm having a bath." In the next slide, Kaye shared a photo of her leg taped up with support tape and wrote: "It has come to this #toooldforallthis."

Strictly Come Dancing is on BBC One tonight at 6.30pm
