Loose Women's Judi Love shares 'overwhelming' Buckingham Palace experience

Judi Love shared her wild experience attending an event in Buckingham Palace.

Loose Women's Judi Love and Brenda Edwards were invited to Buckingham Palace yesterday to attend a reception to celebrate the Commonwealth Diaspora. The event, which celebrates and recognises the important contribution that the Commonwealth Diaspora provides to the United Kingdom, welcomed hundreds of guests to the palace, from celebrities to key figures representing the arts, education, the NHS, and the charity sector.

Brenda was absent from today's Loose Women but Judi was more than excited to share her experience as she could barely contain her excitement at the start of the show. Though the event is a formal occasion, Judi's experience appeared to be anything but.

Diving straight into her mischievous behaviour, she said: "There was a snack bar and the bowls were empty by the time I turned around and heard 'Oh Judy it's so nice to meet you' and it was Prince Charles. I was so overwhelmed I didn't know what to do.

"It was so nice, we had a good old chat, we were laughing... We were talking about the song Sweet Caroline, the grandchildren. I can't lie, there were points [Charles, Camilla and I] were talking and [I smiled and agreed] even though I didn't know what they were talking about."

Judi admitted she embodied the royals' mannerisms as she spoke to them, even touching Prince Charles multiple times. Reaching out and grabbing co-host Kaye Adam's arm, she added: "Oh, I don't know if I was supposed to but I did and I was like 'Babes, listen!'"

As Judi lovingly mocked the royals and their dispositions, the panel flew into a state of hysterics as they couldn't stop laughing at her impressions. Judi then complimented Camilla on her dress for having pockets which allegedly spiralled into a five-minute fashion conversation.

Judi said: "Everyone must have thought 'What is going on? but it was an amazing time." She noted the overall atmosphere at the event was relaxed to a point she felt right at home and would never have expected the welcome she received.
