Loose Women's Judi Love praised for 'honest' body comments

Loose Women fans have been quick to praise Judi Love for her "honest" body comments.

The panellist spoke candidly about her weight and said she struggles to take a compliment. Kaye Adams asked why she had brought her size up amid the discussion.

Judi explained she "knows" she is "above" what society deems to be an acceptable weight. Talking about whether we inherit our parents' body hang-ups, Judi said when she lost a lot of weight as a young woman, her dad asked her if she was unwell.

She then said she is happy with her "curves" and despite being "bigger" she looks after her health. Judi told the panel: "I know, yes, I'm bigger than so-called average, in society I'd be classed as obese.

"I love my curves but I will go boxing this week, I might not have the third éclair because I've had two already. I'll choose the lower calorie drink, it's not just about size, it's about diabetes, heart conditions. I am conscious of those things and I will talk to my children about it as well.

"I hope it doesn't impact them in a way where they're thinking 'oh gosh, I don't want to put on any weight'. I just want them to make healthier choices".

Fans were quick to praise the 42-year-old. Taking to Twitter, Lauren said: "Totally agree with Judi. It's all about making healthier decisions".

Sarah said: "Love Judi's honesty. It's not easy being a bigger woman but I'll be damned if I'm letting society tell me I'm not beautiful". Amanda said: "I'd watch every day if Judi Love [always] presented".
