Loose Women's Jane Moore admitted to jumping into a river to save a child's life, putting her own in danger.
During today's Loose Women, the panel was shown footage of a mother jumping down a sewer hatch to save her child after they fell in. Startled by the clip, the presenters admitted to going above and beyond for their kids in the face of danger.
Whilst Linda Robson admitted to saving a child from running onto a busy road it was Jane Moore's anecdote of almost drowning that left the room silent. She said: "I remember when I was very young, I was only 18, I was at a country pub with my friends and had quite a bit of cider.

"It was a sunny day, we were by the side of a river and I remember suddenly out the corner of my eye I saw this little boy fall into the river. His parents, he had been playing around, and his parents hadn't noticed so I just jumped in. I didn't think I just jumped in at which point they had realised and came running."
Raising her arms above her head to demonstrate how she carried the child, Jane added: "I was treading water like this to hold him up, in their shock they just took him to go and check he was alright and left me in the river. So I'm there in the river thinking 'oh my god.'"
Gloria Hunniford also said she was responsible for stopping a farm silo from collapsing on one of her grandchildren. She joked it was the fastest she's ever moved.
