Loose Women star Coleen Nolan has opened up about a major 'dilemma,' she's facing ahead of her son' Shane Jr's wedding, having been left concerned with concerns over what she'll wear for his big day.
The ITV lunchtime show is facing some significant disruption this week, with the channel deciding to prioritise it's live racing coverage from Ascot. As a result Loose Women has been cut down from an hour to just half an hour ending at 1pm, before being followed by the news.
There was really just time for two discussions over the course of Wednesday's episode, with the first one focusing on if intellectual conversation was important in relationships, before Coleen opened up about the quandary she's found herself in the lead up to Shane's wedding to girlfriend Maddie,. once the show returned from an ad break.
Coleen said that while a lot of focus is often put on what outfit the mother of the bride will be wearing at a wedding, she felt the same level of pressure to look the part as mother of the groom. She sought advice from her Loose Women colleagues Jane Moore, Janet Street-Porter and Brenda Edwards on the matter, with host Jane also throwing the discussion out to viewers at home to contact the show with their input.

Former Celebrity Big Brother winner Coleen told her co-stars she was in no way looking to 'upstage' her future daughter-in-law, adding: "There's no way I could; I've seen Maddie in her dress and she looks breath-taking." But she did confess that she was now in a predicament where she was struggling to find something, with the big day fast approaching.
Jane explained that Coleen had tried on a number of dresses prior to cameras rolling on Wednesday's episode and photos of her in all three of the outfits then flashed up on screen.,
The one that sparked the most opinion was the third and final dress, an off the shoulder number with a white top half and dazzling embellished navy skirt. Immediately, Jane quizzed: "Looking at that white is it a no-no to wear something white to a wedding?" Coleen replied: "I am so against anyone wearing white to a wedding, I really am. And Maddie definitely is, she will kick you out.
As Brenda awaited the rest of her answer, looking curious, Coleen added: "I think she means, as I do, wearing all white. Like I would not wear a pure white dress to anyone's wedding and a white hat or whatever, I think it's an absolute disgrace if you do."
