Loose Women's Coleen Nolan reveals kids' fear over Tinder date as he makes show debut

Coleen Nolan has told how her kids were fearful about her Tinder date - as he made his debut on Loose Women today.

The panellist appeared alongside her new man - who she met on the dating app - as she revealed her children's reaction to her going on her first date with Michael, as she admitted they were worried something bad had happened to her.

Coleen and Michael met up after "weeks" of talking via text and on the phone, as her new man revealed she was very nervous about going on a first date with him - so much so that he had to decide where they'd meet.

Coleen's boyfriend Michael made his debut on today's show (ITV)

Speaking on the ITV show, she said: "My kids are like my parents. I told my kids that this would be my last date, I can't be bothered anymore, and I said I would be back in an hour, and I think we were together on the date for six hours."

"My kids were texting me. They were asking 'where are you, are you OK, are you in a ditch?' and then when I got back they were saying 'what time do you call this?'" she added, as she shared her kids' fears.

Needless to say, their first date went really well and they've now been together for seven months.

The pair shared a sweet kiss on the show (ITV)

Speaking about their first meeting, Michael added: "Not particularly. We were just generally chatting about various things anyway and we seemed to be getting on, the next step was to have a telephone conversation."

And Michael also admitted Coleen had been feeling "really scared" ahead of the date, as he shared: "We chatted for a while, exchanged a few texts and eventually I got to have a phone conversation, as she was really scared about that."

Michael said Coleen was nervous before meeting him for the first time (ITV)

Coleen previously confessed to The Mirror that she was nearly ready to give up on Tinder when she met Michael.

"I was literally about to come off the app when I spotted Michael and swiped right," she said, "I’d been on there for a while and after a string of dates with guys that just hadn’t worked out I was fed up with the whole thing.

"The men were all very nice, but one told me he couldn’t deal with the fact I was in the public eye, so obviously that wasn’t going to work. Another was a bit tetchy when I didn’t reply to a message straight away so I knew that wasn’t worth the effort."
