Loose Women's Brenda Edwards can't hide disgust following Coleen Nolan's bed sheet confession

Brenda Edwards couldn't hide the look of disgust on her face after co-star Coleen Nolan made a bed sheet confession during Loose Women. The topic of whether you change your bed sheets for guests was the subject of a heated discussion on Tuesday, July 26.

During the ITV show, Coleen said: "If my sister comes to stay for one night and then the next night, my friends are coming to stay, I don't change the sheets." Whilst host Kaye Adams agreed, Brenda Edwards looked visibly horrified by her co-star. Janet Street-Porter simply laughed along as the drama unfolded.

Challenging Coleen, Brenda said: "If anybody comes to stay, as soon as they've come out of that bed, change that sheet." The studio fell silent and Brenda continued: "If you've only got one sheet, you put it in the washer or the drier.

"I don't need any skin cells on me," she exclaimed, "I don't care if it's a man, woman, boy or child, you wash that sheet!" With that, the studio erupted in laughter.

Viewers responded on social media. One person shared their own experiences and said: "I stripped and washed the bedding last time my daughter visited a few months ago and have washed it again to freshen before she arrives on Thursday. Wouldn’t dream of not doing so."

Another person commented: "Having a guest stay at your house and not stripping the bed immediately as they wake, is the equivalent of wearing someone’s covid mask."

Many people agreed with Brenda on her attitude to bed sheets. A third person wrote: "@brenda_edwards was short of telling the @loosewomenpanel, them a bunch of dutty bungles!!Changing your sheets after you have had guests shouldnt even be up for debate, just do it!! Standard procedure."
