Loose Women's biggest rows ever - Meghan Markle blow-up to Kim Woodburn storming off set

The Loose Women panelists were locked into an explosive on-air row about Meghan Markle, which saw Denise Welch shout at Jane Moore and Gloria Hunniford.

The actress wasn't afraid to share her views on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex after the show held a debate over Meghan's latest bombshell interview.

She has since continued to argue her beliefs on Twitter, where she has been met with support and criticism.

But this isn't the first time that the panelists have ended up in a full-blown shouting match, with some cases ending in panelists getting the boot.

Coleen and Kim Woodburn

After securing the biggest public vote, and beating twin singers Jedward to the top spot, Coleen Nolan won Celebrity Big Brother in 2017.

But the Queen of Clean was not amused, and shared her thoughts with the rest of the world: "How that woman won, when Jedward were sitting there, I have no idea."

"Public, I don’t know how you could let that boring fag-ash Lil (win), with what I now know to be a rotten mouth.

"She shouldn’t have won that show... I'm a bit tired of all these people on Loose Women winning... It was wrong that she won. She was not entertaining and I was disappointed.

"Coleen was running with the foxes and hunting with the hounds. What a shocking woman."

When Kim was invited on the show to see if she and Coleen could "end their feud", she hit out at Linda Robinson who she called "two faced" when she tried to comfort her.

Kim started to get emotional after she opened up about her "terrible childhood" and said that her time on the show brought back "those memories".

Coleen hit back at the comments made by Kim, saying: "She'd go off like a mad woman and then five minutes later become Mrs Doubtfire, so you never knew where the hell you were with her."

Katie Hopkins refuses to apologise

Controversial Katie Hopkins landed herself in the hot seat on the show after she refused to apologise for her distasteful comments she made about Coleen's sister Linda.

After she was challenged by Coleen to apologise for the things she said about Linda who was also on Celebrity Big Brother, Katie replied: "No. People say hard stuff about me all the time. I wasn't the biggest fan of your sister on Celebrity Big Brother and I was a massive fan of Jim Davison. You have to pick your sides and I was always team Jim."

Coleen said how Katie said nasty things about Linda's appearance, including how she "looked like she smelt of urine" and her "fat arm" - which was caused by her battles with cancer.

Miss Great Britain Row

Former Love Islander Zara Holland was stripped of her Miss Great Britain title after she had sex with fellow islander Alex Bowen on the show.

The producers invited Zara on the show as well as her replacement - who wore a sparkly tiara.

Katie Price asked Zara if she had given the tiara back and Zara said that she didn't have any plans to.

She was asked if she thought that Deone Robertson deserved to be crowned Miss GB, she said: "No because she didn't win on the night. In my opinion, if it was the other way around and I was in the same situation, I would probably have said that I stand up for women."

The two pageant winners then got locked into an argument over whether or not Deone should have stepped into her place.

Deone accused her of not doing any charity work after winning the trophy.

Jamelia on Plus Sized women

Jamelia was axed from the show after she made controversial comments on larger people.

The singer, 35, said that obese women "should feel uncomfortable" about their size, and that the high street stores are making it acceptable to be overweight.

"Yes, have specialist shops, but you should feel uncomfortable if you are unhealthy... to be available in every High Street store, I don't think that's right."

Judy Finnegan's rape comments

Judy Finnegan was met with outrage after she discussed footballer Ched Evans' rape case.

The panel were debating whether or not he should return to football after his short prison sentence, and Judy replied: "Everything depends on whether the fans want him back. And I think he will have to brave an awful lot of comments from the fans that were there.

"He served his time, the rape - and I am not by any means minimising any kind of rape - but the rape was not violent, he didn't cause any bodily harm to the person. It was unpleasant in a hotel room, and she had far too much to drink.

"But he has been convicted and he has served his time".

Her comments were branded "disgusting" and "insensitive" by horrified viewers and she was forced to apologise.

"I absolutely wasn’t suggesting that rape was anything other than a horrendous crime and, as I said on the programme, I was in no way attempting to minimise the terrible ordeal that any woman suffers as a result," she said.

“The point I was attempting to raise as part of the debate was what should happen to someone after they have committed a crime and served their time.

“I apologise unreservedly for any offence that I may have caused as a result of the wording I used.”

Kelli Young on gay parents

Liberty X star was slammed by viewers after she appeared to suggest that gay couples can't have children.

The panel were discussing whether people should be able to take time off to look after their pets, in the same way that new parents take time off.

"On the flipside, lots of people take paternity leave but what about people who aren't going to have kids like gay couples..." she said.

"Or straight couples who aren't going to have kids?

"What about giving them a couple of weeks off?"

She apologised for the comment, but was met with backlash.

"Erm, gay couples CAN have children!" one wrote online.

"Errr cringing at Kellie suggesting gay couples cant have kids. Is she sure?!" another wrote.

"Hmm.. Gay couples CAN have children," a third chimed.

Denise defends Meghan Markle

Denise Welch locked horns with Gloria Hunniford after the pair refused to see eye-to-eye over a debate on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

On Tuesday's episode, the team discussed Meghan's latest interview with US publication The Cut.

Under the subject: "Meghan's latest bombshell interview", Denise started the debate.

"I think Meghan Markle can do nothing right, and hasn't been able to since the beginning."

The talking point was around how Meghan and Harry had claimed that their son Archie had been called "the N word".

On the other side of the argument was 82-year-old Gloria, who had accused Meghan of "fibbing" previously.

Trying to make her point, Gloria said: "It's a point that she did tell, what was discovered as some fibs, lies, whatever you want to call them, in that Oprah Winfrey item."

But then Denise jumped in and said: "What and the royal family have never told any fibs or lies either? I think there's some whoppers that we're not allowed to talk about but anyway."

Denise, who was wearing a fuchsia dress, shifted uncomfortably in her seat as she listened to Gloria continue.

"I just think that Meghan undermines all the good work that she does by spinning out this lie."

Gloria Hunniford told Denise to 'stop shouting' (ITV)

At this point, Denise had clearly had enough and shouted: "The Queen supports Prince Andrew, Gloria! The Queen doesn't say a word about Prince Andrew - the guy who paid a woman off for a sex case.

"We can't talk about Meghan Markle without talking about that as well."

Gloria hit Denise on the arm and asked her if she could make her point without shouting, to which Denise replied: "I'm not shouting at you."

Jane Moore, who works as a newspaper journalist, stepped in to try and defuse the situation.

"Denise, you've been in the public eye long enough to know that it is a contradiction to say 'leave me alone, I want a private life' - oh by the way, there's a journalist, you can come into my house and I'm going to tell you the intimate things that my husband has said to me about his family' and put it out there.

"That is a contradiction," she said with her hands raised.

Kelle also went head to head with Janet Street Porter (ITV)

Directly taking on Jane she hit out: "Look at the press every single day, you guys are obsessed with tearing them down!

"Absolutely obsessed!"

Putting her legal cap on, Jane clarified: "Prince Andrew has denied everything,’

A second argument broke out today between Kelle Bryan and Janet Street Porter.

The pair were discussing the couple's security arrangements and how Archie is experiencing racism.

Janet replied: "You seem to be implying that British people by default would think less of her son, and there would be a large number of people by default who might think badly of her son because he’s a person of colour or mixed race.

"But that’s her experience!" explained Kelly.

"She’s said that within the royal household that people have made comments about her son’s race. So if that’s the first representation that she’s had, what is she thinking about as a wider community outside."
