Loose Women hit with Ofcom complaints after Katie Piper's baby comments

Loose Women has been hit with a number of Ofcom complaints from ITV viewers.

Fans of the daytime talk show were unhappy over a comment panellist Katie Piper made about babies. More than 60 complaints were made to the broadcasting regulators after Katie reacted badly to a "goth baby".

The host was joined by Kaye Adams, Judi Love and Nadia Swahala as they discussed if parents should impose their lifestyle choices on their children. The topic of discussion came about after one mother turned her entire home into the real life Addams Family following the release of Netflix's new show Wednesday.

But Katie didn't agree with the mum's choices and wasn't shy about voicing her opinion. Watching a clip showing the home, Katie gasped.

She said: "I don't like that interior. It's all black and dark. Babies don't like that.

"I'm just going to put it out there it's giving me satanic vibes, it's giving me bad energy, it's toxic, I don't like it and also it's a baby. The cots are tomb. You can't put your baby in a grave."
