Carol McGiffin left fans gasping as she said she doesn't consider her Loose Women co-stars as friends.
During today's show, the conversation turned to whether or not the panel considered specific people in their lives as friends or acquaintances. As the definitions were dissected, the majority agreed they were all lifelong friends with one another, except Carol.
The panel was shocked by Carol declaring she only considered them as acquaintances despite working on the show for nearly two decades. After Nadia asked whether or not she personally would be classed as a friend, Carol said: "I think there's a fine line between friends and acquaintances.

"It's kind of semantics in a way, it doesn't really matter. I wouldn't class you as actual..." The panel and studio audience cut Carol off before she could finish with a unanimous gasp.
Kaye Adams stepped away from the desk, placing her hands firmly on her hips as Brenda Edwards joked she wasn't friends with Carol either.
Trying to defend herself, she added: "I don't spend as much time together as you do. To me, friends are someone you chill out and watch movies with." Kaye tried to scurry the conversation along after also joking she wasn't friends with Carol.
