Notorious looksmaxxer Braden Eric Peters — famously known as Clavicular — has been charged with the alleged drugging and rape of a woman in the US state of Massachusetts.
Per US outlet CBS News, the infamous streamer has been charged with one count of rape, one count of drugging someone for sexual intercourse, and one count of procuring liquor for someone under 21, with court documents alleging the offences occurred on May 23, 2025.
The 20-year-old is scheduled to appear for an arraignment hearing on October 14, with Chatham, Massachusetts, listed as the jurisdiction, the publication reports.
The recent charges come after a separate lawsuit was filed against Peter in April, in which a teenager sued the streamer for allegedly supplying her with alcohol during a party in Massachusetts in 2025 and had sex with her when she was passed out.
It is unclear whether the new charges are connected to the allegations in the April lawsuit.
While Clavicular has yet to address the fresh allegations head-on, he did take to X to share a cryptic post, accusing the teenage girl who filed the lawsuit in April — and publicly identified herself — of “trying to get my attention in any way possible, a lawsuit?”
“Seriously… really petty of you,” he penned, alongside a video of the teenager and a letter that says, “Just know, Braden, you have my loyalty 100 per cent”.
He has since shared more X posts responding to the teen.
A representative for the streamer told CBS News the criminal charges reported by The Bulwark, which broke the news on the lawsuit, were “bogus”. The rep also claimed that the charges were from a civil suit which he “refused to settle” after the accuser added sexual abuse allegations.
Clavicular’s team said the streamer learned about the charges from a reporter when news first broke, and that he’s yet to be served an arrest warrant.
Alongside the lawsuit in April, Clavicular was charged in Arizona for having a fake ID and unprescribed medication. In March, he was charged, alongside his girlfriend, with assaulting a 19-year-old woman. All charges were dropped.
In May, he was sentenced to six months’ probation for shooting a dead alligator in Florida while streaming.
In April, Clavicular also went viral after he reportedly suffered a suspected overdose during a livestream.
If convicted of rape in the state of Massachusetts, the streamer could face up to 20 years in prison, while drugging a person for sex carries the penalty of a mandatory setence of between 10 years and life in prison, per ABC News.
