LOOK: Kirk Cousins and Robert Griffin III reunite at Pro Bowl Games

Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins led the NFC to a come-from-behind win over the AFC in the first edition of the Pro Bowl Games. The AFC led the NFC coming into Sunday’s three flag football games after getting off to a strong start in Thursday’s skill competitions.

Cousins, who led the Vikings to multiple game-winning drives in the fourth quarter in 2022, including one over Washington, passed for three touchdowns in Sunday’s decisive 35-33 flag football victory.

After the game, Cousins had a reunion of sorts with, of all people, former teammate Robert Griffin III.

Griffin, who now works for ESPN, met with Cousins and NFC coach Eli Manning on the field to interview them after the game. Here’s the proof.

Not only did Griffin interview Cousins, but after the interview was over, the duo hugged and spoke for a few minutes when the cameras went away. While it appeared at first to be an awkward reunion considering the history between the two former Washington quarterbacks, the pair spoke and appeared to have turned the page from their four years of competing against one another for the starting quarterback position.

Chris Russell summed it up best.

Cousins played two more years as Washington’s quarterback after Griffin departed. Cousins set multiple franchise passing records despite being a fourth-round pick in the same draft where Griffin went No. 2 overall.

Many fans have always taken one side or the other. It appears Griffin and Cousins have moved on; maybe it’s time fans can also turn the page.
