Chiefs HC Andy Reid was taking in the bright lights of Kansas City area high school football on Friday night. In the final weekend prior to the Chiefs’ regular season, Reid was spotted at the varsity football matchup between the Pembroke Hill Raiders and the Christ Prep Patriots.
Some lucky fans posted pictures online of their kids taking photos with Reid. Pembroke Hill’s athletics account posted a photo of Reid in attendance, wearing his usual non-gameday attire of a Hawaiian shirt.

If the team’s goals are met, Reid will spend the next 25 weeks working hard en route to Super Bowl LVII. With that in mind, it’s not a bad idea for Reid to head out on the town this weekend as he’ll be quite busy for the next several months.

It’s possible that Reid was even doing a little future scouting for the next local area football star or looking for some unique play-design ideas to borrow for the 2022 NFL season. The game ended up a bit one-sided in the box score as the Patriots defeated the Raiders 27-7.
