Face blindness may affect long-term sufferers of Covid-19, according to a new study by a university in the States.
Experts at Dartmouth College, in New Hampshire, have revealed the worrying scenario after working with a 28-year-old woman who contracted coronavirus in March 2020. She claimed, along with 50 other patients surveyed, that she was having a hard time identifying faces since first becoming ill, reports the Daily Star.
The woman known as Annie (not her real name) said: “It was as if my dad’s voice came out of a stranger’s face.”
