Lonely dog who has spent over 1,400 days in rescue centre desperate for home

A lonely dog who has spent half of her life in rescue is ready to find her forever family. Kiko the seven-year-old Staffordshire bull terrier has been at Dogs Trust Cardiff for almost four years and likes to take her time to get to know people.

The sweet girl is looking for patient owners who will let her build a bond in her own time. Kim Davies, manager at Cardiff, told the Mirror: "Kiko is ready to kickstart the next chapter in her forever home. She would love a secure garden to play in as she loves running around off lead and playing with her favourite toys.
