(Picture: PA Wire)The Londoner hears Boris Johnson and his wife Carrie are planning a champagne-soaked soirée at Chequers to celebrate their first wedding anniversary.
Having been the first PM to tie the knot in office in just under 200 years the loved-up couple had to get married at short notice in Westminster Cathedral among just 30 guests, including siblings Rachel and Jo Johnson, due to Covid restrictions. Afterwards, a No 10 spokesman said they ‘will celebrate their wedding with family and friends next summer.’ Now the Johnsons have sent invitations to the party which will be in the coming weeks.
