London weather: Met Office upgrades temperature forecast as capital enjoys sunny spell

London is set for another taste of summer this week, with temperatures forecast to soar to 26C on Friday in what could be one of the final warm spells of the year.

Forecasters are predicting an even warmer week than previously expected as high pressure settles across southern parts of the UK, bringing Londoners plenty of dry and sunny weather.
