London weather: Capital set to be hotter than Ibiza this weekend as spring 'heatwave' continues

Londoners are set to bask in warm spring sunshine this weekend with temperatures forecast to reach 18C - hotter than Ibiza and the French Riviera.

Mild conditions and pleasant temperatures are expected to remain in place throughout the weekend, with the Met Office reporting “fine and dry with sunny spells on Saturday,” with similar conditions expected on Sunday.
