London travel news LIVE: Overground line partly suspended and Tube line delays over morning rush-hour

Most Londoners are enjoying a trouble-free commute over the morning rush hour with few problems currently being reported.

At 8.20am, TfL was reporting a partial suspension of the Windrush Overground line and minor delays on the Tube’s Bakerloo line.

An incident between J24 and J25 on the M25 caused delays of almost an hour earlier this morning, but those delays are now easing.

Meanwhile, National Rail was not reporting any issues affecting commuters trains into London.

Bakerloo issues easing

There are now only minor delays between Queen's Park and Harrow & Wealdstone, and a good service on the rest of the Bakerloo line.

Bakerloo update

There are severe delays on the Bakerloo line between Queen's Park and Harrow and Wealdstone while TfL fix a signal failure at Queen's Park.

M25 congestion easing

Congestion is now easing on the M25 - there are now delays of just 15 minutes, down from 50 minutes earlier this morning.

Traffic England have issued an update that normal traffic conditions are expected to resume by 9.15am.

Longer delays on M25

Traffic England are now reporting that normal traffic conditions are not expected to resume between J24 and J25 on the M25 until around 11.30am, following the earlier crash.

M25 update

There are severe delays on the M25 following a road traffic collision.

One of four lanes is closed on the motorway between junctions J24 and J25 clockwise, resulting in delays of up to 50 minutes clockwise between J22 and J24.

The incident isn’t expected to clear until around 10.30am - we will keep you updated.

Tube update

There is a good service again on the Metropolitan line between Baker Street and Aldgate following the earlier faulty train at Euston Square.

Meanwhile, there are now minor delays on the whole Bakerloo line due to train cancellations.

Windrush update

The Windrush Line is part suspended between Sydenham and West Croydon while Network Rail fix a points failure at West Croydon.

There is a good service on the rest of the line.

No further changes

There remains a good service on the Tube and Overground, and there are no current issues affecting commuters trains into London.

Metropolitan line update

There are now minor delays on the Metropolitan line between Baker Street and Aldgate due to a faulty train at Euston Square.

Good service
