Trains between Paddington, Heathrow and Reading face disruption on Friday due to a fault with overhead power lines in west London.
The problem in the Southall area is affecting Elizabeth Line, Heathrow Express and Great Western Railway services.
National Rail is warned trains may be cancelled, delayed by up to 50 minutes or revised.
Meanwhile, trains in and out of London Waterloo are running again following major disruption on Thursday evening after a death on the tracks at Clapham Junction station.

Tube and Overground update
15:42 , tom placeThere are currently severe delays on the Jubilee line between Baker Street and Stanmore due to train cancellations.
There are also still severe delays on the Piccadilly line between Acton Town and Uxbridge due to an earlier signal failure at Acton Town.
There are minor delays on the DLR between Lewisham and Bank due to an earlier customer incident at Heron Quays.
Lines reopen - with severe delays

Mildmay update

Acton Town signal failure

- Services between Abbey Wood and Maidenhead are cancelled in full - use services between Abbey Wood and Reading, which will call at Maidenhead
Disruption between Hertford North and Alexandra Palace

Trains running between these stations may be cancelled, delayed by up to 30 minutes, revised or diverted.
No trains between West Ealing and Greenford

Tube and Overground update

Advice for Elizabeth line customers
09:44 , Tom PlaceElizabeth line passengers have been advised that Acton Main Line, West Ealing, Ealing Broadway, Southall and Hanwell are not being served in the eastbound direction.
Tickets can be used on the following services:
- Great Western Railway services between London Paddington and Reading (note these services are also affected by this incident)
- London Underground via any reasonable route
- South Western Railway between London Waterloo and Reading
- London Buses via any reasonable route
Heathrow update
09:35 , Tom PlaceThose trying to get to Heathrow from central London have been advised that, amid the ongoing issues, there will be a reduced half hourly Heathrow express in operation between London Paddington and Heathrow Terminal 5.
Jubilee line update
09:18 , Tom PlaceThere is now a good service again on the Jubilee line this morning following the earlier faulty train at Bond Street.
Elizabeth line update
09:06 , Tom PlaceThere are still long delays on the western end of the Elizabeth line due to damage to the overhead electric wires between London Paddington and Heathrow Airport & Reading.
There are currently delays of up to 50 minutes.
The disruption is expected to last until the end of the day.
Waterloo Station update

The Waterloo & City line is also running again with a good service.
Fenchurch Street disruption

Trains running to and from Fenchurch Street may be cancelled or delayed as a result.
Disruption between Wimbledon and Clapham Junction

Trains that run between these stations may be delayed by up to 20 minutes or cancelled.

There are yellow weather warnings in force for snow and ice across Scotland and northern England, with Arctic air forecast to return to the UK.
Waterloo update
07:52 , Tom PlaceWaterloo Underground station is fully closed this morning due to faulty fire equipment at the station.
The Waterloo & City line is therefore currently closed, and the station is not being served by the Bakerloo, Jubilee, or Northern lines at the moment.

Elizabeth line update

TfL are currently fixing the issue, and tickets are being accepted on the underground via any reasonable route. There is still a good service on the rest of the line.
Metropolitan line update

That part of the line is running again, albeit with minor delays.
Piccadilly line update

Jubilee line update

Waterloo station is closed on the line due to faulty fire equipment.
Delays on other lines
07:05 , Alastair LockhartThe worst disruption is on the Elizabeth line this morning, but other lines have also been hit by delays.
On the Metropolitan line, there is no service between Moor Park and Watford due to a fire alert. Tickets for this route are being accepted on London buses and the Lioness line.
There are also closures on the London Tram between East Croydon, Beckenham Junction, Elmers End and New Addington.
There is currently a good service running on all other lines, according to Transport for London.
Waterloo and City line suspended
06:56 , Alastair LockhartThe Waterloo and City line, which runs between Waterloo station and Bank, is suspended this morning.
This is due to faulty fire equipment at Waterloo which is currently being repaired.
It is not yet clear when the line will reopen.
Severe delays on the Elizabeth line

Passengers travelling between Reading and Paddington have been told to expect major disruption due to a fault with overhead lines at Southall.
There is also disruption between Paddington and Heathrow Terminal 4 and Terminal 5.
The rest of the line is currently running as normal, but passengers affected by the delays have been advised to find alternative routes.
