London travel news LIVE: Denmark Hill signal faults sparks fresh train disruption

A signal fault has sparked disruption to train services in south London.

The issue in Denmark Hill has caused a suspension of the Overground’s Windrush line between Surrey Quays and Clapham Junction.

The same problem is also affecting Southeastern trains connecting London Victoria with Kent.

It comes three days after a signal fault blocked all lines through Denmark Hill, causing widespread disruption across parts of the London.

Windrush line remains part suspended

There is still no service on the Windrush line between Surrey Quays and Clapham Junction due to the signal failure at Denmark Hill.

According to TfL, disruption is expected in the area until 4pm.

Metropolitan line update

There are also severe delays on the Metropolitan line this morning, due to a late finish of engineering work.

Issues at Denmark Hill

A similar signalling fault at Denmark Hill caused travel chaos on Monday morning.

All lines through the station were blocked, causing severe disruption across parts of the London transport network.

The fault, like today’s, affected London Overground and Southeastern rail services.

Train services in south London are suffering disruption this morning due to a signal fault in Denmark Hill.

The London Overground’s Windrush line is suspended between Surrey Quays and Clapham Junction, according to Transport for London.

Southeastern trains between London Victoria and Kent are also disrupted.
