A London sixth form has said it saw A-Level results jump an entire grade after completely banning mobile phones.
Average A-Level grades at Excelsior Academy in Hackney jumped from a C to a B when teachers began confiscating the devices of 16 to 18 year olds last year if they were seen using them on school grounds.
