London Overground: Sadiq Khan gives new branch line in west London the signal to proceed

A new branch of the London Overground has moved a step closer after Sir Sadiq Khan announced funding to develop the scheme.

The £700m West London Orbital would link Hounslow and Hendon via Old Oak Common and become a seventh branch of the Overground network.
