A train derailment is creating travel chaos for London Overground commuters set to stretch into Thursday morning.
An engineering train came off the tracks in the Willesden Junction area while works were taking place over the weekend.
The incident has affected trains on the London Overground between Clapham Junction and Stratford and is holding up Southern services on a number of nearby routes.
National Rail said the train is back on the rails but the derailment has damaged points and overhead electric power lines, meaning more repairs are needed.
The West London Line route cannot be served on Wednesday and disruption is expected until 5am on Thursday.
London Overground services are unable to run between Shepherd's Bush and Willesden Junction.

A shuttle train service is in place between Shepherd's Bush and Clapham Junction.
Travellers are being advised to use buses and the London Underground instead.
Southern services that run between Clapham Junction and Watford Junction will also be suspended until the end of the day on Wednesday, with a limited service through to Hemel Hempstead.
National Rail has said travellers need to take alternative routes and should leave at least 45 minutes of extra travel time. Tickets will be accepted on other services.
