London Marathon 2027 confirmed as two-day event 'for one year only'

London The London Marathon London Marathon Events United Kingdom

The London Marathon will be staged over two days next year following a record level of demand, with 1.33 million applications received for the 2027 ballot.

Organisers have confirmed that, as a one-off arrangement, the event will take place across Saturday 25 April and Sunday 26 April next year, allowing around 100,000 participants to take part across the weekend.
