Housebuilding statistics published in January made for sobering reading for anyone invested in the future of London, with an 84% decline in housing starts over the last decade seeming to confirm our worst fears that London’s development engine has stalled.
Undoubtedly these are challenging conditions for developers, but I would argue that there are reasons for optimism. London, like all great cities, will bounce back.
