London sees more rain as dry spell broken by ‘pathetic’ showers

London recorded some of its only rainfall in more than a month on Tuesday and Wednesday, bringing brief relief to the capital after one of its driest spells in generations.

Showers were reported across parts of central and southwest London on Tuesday including Paddington and Clapham, prompting Londoners to celebrate the rare sight of rainy weather on social media.
