After Britain’s lacklustre performance at Eurovision 2023 earlier this year, the 2024 event will not be heading back to the UK.
However, there is still a chance to enjoy a pre-event party in London next year.
The London Eurovision Party is set to take place on Sunday, April 7, 2024, exactly one month before the annual song contest's first semi-final.
The London Eurovision Party X (formerly Twitter) account announced on November 22, 2023: "We’re back! The London Eurovision Party will take place on 7 April 2024.
"It’s our 15th anniversary, so expect some big surprises as we celebrate the stars and their fans. We’ll follow up with ticket details soon."
A venue, timings and further event details have not yet been announced. However, performers from different countries are expected to perform.
Last year, 22 acts from the 2023 competition took part in the event at London’s Outernet.

When and where is Eurovision 2024?
The UK hosted the 2023 competition in Liverpool because the 2022 winners Ukraine were unable to hold it due to the ongoing war with Russia.
Sweden won the competition with Loreen, which means Eurovision 2024 will be held at Malmo Arena. It will be the third time that the coastal city in the south of Sweden has hosted the competition.
The semi-finals will be on May 7 and 9 before the final takes place on May 11. All three programmes will be broadcast live on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
Eurovision organisers have confirmed that tickets will go on sale on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, and will be sold through Ticketmaster.A British entry is set to be named next spring to follow on from Mae Muller, who represented the UK this year with her track I Wrote a Song. She finished 25th.
