Two drunk passengers were arrested after their disorderly behaviour forced a London Gatwick flight to be diverted.
The man and the woman, who were not travelling together, were reportedly disturbing passengers onboard the Airbus A320 easyJet flight bound for Antalya in Turkey.
Passengers claim the woman, who was sitting with her partner and young children, was drinking from a bottle of vodka and allegedly spat at another passenger after being asked to stop, according to The Sun.
The man reportedly bragged to other passengers about having previously been to prison and threatened to kill anyone who moaned about them.
The pair’s unsociable behaviour forced the flight to be diverted to Kosovo, where officers boarded the plane and arrested the two passengers.
The flight then continued on its journey, but arrived in Antalya three hours late.
The pair were not travelling together but apparently began flirting after finding out they were both from Kent.
“It was terrifying behaviour,” one passenger told The Sun. “When they were asked to stop drinking it all kicked off.”
EasyJet said: “We do not tolerate disruptive behaviour. The safety of customers and crew is always our highest priority.”
