London council pleads for £80 million from government to reopen bridge closed for three years

Redbridge Council has submitted a bid for £80 million in government funding to rebuild a major bridge that has been closed for more than three years.

Broadmead Road Bridge has been closed since July 2023 due to structural issues, causing serious disruption for Woodford residents and motorists.
