More than 11,000 Londoners have been admitted to hospital with a knife crime injury in just over a decade, official figures have revealed amid renewed calls for more action to tackle blade offending.
Figures from the Office for National Statistics show that there were 930 hospital admissions in London because of a blade injury during the 12 months to the end of September last year.
