Last night at The London Palladium, Lola Young was anything but messy. As the house lights dimmed, the 25-year-old Croydon-born singer tentatively appeared on stage for her first live performance in five months, and the crowd went wild.
Applause filled the venue as Young settled herself in front of her piano, and regular, supportive shouts of “We love you Lola!” did not abate all night, even amongst some of the show’s most quiet moments.
