Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Bollywood stars Janhvi Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar, Zoya Akhtar step out early to cast their vote - WATCH

Bollywood stars lined up in the early hours of Monday morning to cast their vote for the ongoing Lok Sabha Elections 2024. As the polling booths opened up at 7am in various locations around the city, several Bollywood stars like Janhvi Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar, and director Zoya Akhtar, along with their mom, stepped out to cast their vote.

Janhvi Kapoor, dressed in a simple yet elegant hot pink salwar suit, was impossible to miss as she headed to a polling station at a school in Juhu to cast her vote. The young actress, who is awaiting the release of her upcoming sports movie 'Mr and Mrs Mahi', made sure to fulfil her civic duties. After casting her vote, the actress was seen flashing a bright smile and holding up her inked finger for the cameras. The actress was given a police escort to her waiting car, considering that her presence at the booth drew in a lot of attention from fans and the paparazzi.

Also among the early arrivals was brother-sister duo Farhan and Zoya, who brought their mom along to cast her vote. After lining up at the booth, the trio proudly posed for pictures as they showed off their inked finger.

These early celeb spottings at polling stations in the city come after the film fraternity participated in a public service campaign, urging fellow Indians to cast their vote in the ongoing elections. Several Bollywood stars from Shah Rukh Khan to Akshay Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan, Ayushmann Khurrana to Rajkummar Rao, Shilpa Shetty and many others took to their social media handles to share videos to encourage their young fans to cast their vote and fulfil their civic duties.
