A GLOBAL logistic giant’s Scottish headquarters has been targeted by pro-Palestine protesters.
The offices of DB Schenker, in the Hillington area of Glasgow, have had windows and doors smashed as well as offices vandalised with paint.
An unnamed “autonomous group” has taken credit for the damage, claiming to have bypassed security in the early hours of Tuesday morning and “covered the building’s foyer and offices with paint and messages to ‘Drop Elbit’ on the walls”.
Elbit Systems is an Israeli defence company with close ties to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), which are involved in the illegal occupation of Palestinian land, as well as an alleged genocide in Gaza.
DSV, the Danish logistics giant which took over DB Schenker in 2025, is reportedly contracted to ship military equipment and weapon components for Elbit Systems.
A spokesperson for the unnamed Glasgow group said: “As long as DSV and its subsidiaries maintain their contract with Elbit Systems, property damage and disruption will continue. We will interrupt, delay and destroy the supply chain that provides Israel with its weaponry by any means necessary.
“While DSV’s website proudly advertises their track record delivering Christmas gifts on time to children, their warehouses stock parts used to slaughter thousands of kids in Palestine, Lebanon, and Iran.
“DSV supplies hundreds of different industries, and does not depend on Elbit Systems to be able to pay their employees.
“Sinking to this moral low was their choice. Dropping Elbit could be their wisest logistics decision yet.”
DSV has been subject to intense pressure both within the UK and internationally due to its contract with Elbit Systems over the past year. Groups in the UK, US, Germany, France, Ireland, Italy, Portugal, and Denmark have all damaged DSV premises in the past six months.
Palestine Action Global – a separate group to Palestine Action, which is proscribed in the UK as a terror organisation – have previously claimed responsibility for incidents abroad.
Police Scotland confirmed that they had received a report of vandalism and damage to a building in Hillington Park at around 6am on Tuesday morning.
“Enquiries are ongoing,” a force spokesperson added.
