Logan Paul snubs brother Jake's job query after defeat by Tommy Fury

Logan Paul jokingly snubbed brother Jake's job requests after the YouTube star suffered defeat to Tommy Fury.

YouTube star Jake Paul picked up his first boxing defeat at the weekend against bitter rival Fury in Saudi Arabia, having fallen short on the judges' scorecards by split decision. The influencer thought he had done enough with a knockdown in the final round, but in truth Fury dominated the contest for large portions which saw him pipped to the post.

Paul had six wins prior to the recent stain on his record, and had hoped to continued fighting big names in his quest to become a world champion in the sport further down the line. However with his immediate plan now derailed, Paul filmed a series of videos on social media making light of his loss.

In one on his private jet flying home with brother Logan, Paul first asked his brother if his high-profile podcast was hiring or needed a co-host. His sibling replied: "No not at the moment. Not at Impaulsive.” The 'Problem Child' then followed up his request with a new idea asking if he needs a tag-team partner for his WWE ventures, to which his brother comically replied: "Again, not at the moment.”

Paul then looked around bewildered as if stunned by the rejection before ending the video, which came just one story after revealing he secured a prize of $30 million despite defeat. Although asking for jobs, Paul will almost certainly continue his boxing career and will likely fight Fury again next.

The 26-year-old had an immediate rematch clause in the fighting contract that he has confirmed that he will activate in due course to secure a second showdown later in the year. Paul will still likely have the opportunity to settle another rivalry with YouTube foe KSI, as the pair's winner-takes-all agreement for December could still stand.

The YouTube star is also signed with MMA label PFL and remains set to make his debut in the cage next year as part of his new deal with the promotion. However Paul has insisted his first focus will be revenge against 'TNT' before he can exact his next movements in combat sports.

"I just spoke to Tommy and he is ready to do it again," Paul said after the fight. "That will be the focus first and foremost to try and get that win. I have to go back and look at the tape and dissect it, but I know when I am having an amazing night I can do it. I don't want to sit here and make excuses but I know I can be better.

"I do think the rematch is huge. Congratulations to Tommy man seriously, he is a great and powerful fighter. He showed a lot of heart tonight. We did big business and for that reason the rematch is going to be even bigger."
