YouTube star Logan Paul has offered to fight Tyson Fury - if the world heavyweight champion is willing to compete in a professional MMA bout.
The social media influencer, who turned professional as a boxer for his 2019 bout with KSI, has yet to win a fight, but has an extensive wrestling background on top of his three ring appearances. And while he understands he wouldn't stand a chance with the pound-for-pound great in a boxing contest, he would be willing to welcome him to MMA.
Fury has dabbled with the octagon before, training with Darren Till in 2019 during the build-up to his world title rematch with Deontay Wilder. And he has even entertained a hybrid-rules fight with Francis Ngannou in the past, telling the UFC heavyweight champion that he would box him in 4oz MMA gloves inside of a cage.
But speaking with BT Sport, Paul suggested that the heavyweight kingpin continue the family feud that started with their younger brothers Jake and Tommy fighting in Saudi Arabia back in February. "You know what I would do because I saw Tyson talking s***?" he asked host Ariel Helwani. "I would fight Tyson in a MMA fight.
"I really would, I don't really care how big he is if you have not wrestled or done any ground work I don't care how big you are, you better land the first two punches that you throw and they better knock me out. Otherwise I'm taking you to the ground, I'm taking your back and I'm choking you out."
The elder Paul brother is in business with the UFC already; his sports drink Prime is a major sponsor of the promotion. But he admits that he and boss Dana White have not further discussed his ambitions of competing in the octagon at some point and putting his grappling background to use.
White previously said that he's "not saying no" to the idea, but conversations haven't progressed since, with Paul adding: "There was a part of me that really wanted to become a WWE champion, a UFC champion and a boxing champion but that feels impossible, that's the word I'd use.

"It'll probably never be done, ever, but if I just decided to, I really decided to, something tells me I could probably do it. What I'm saying is if I really wanted to I could probably do it but it's really hard because my brain is my one asset that I feel I need, I really need and what are we chasing here?
"The answer would be legacy so how important is that to me? How important is that to me to have a legacy that maybe would be remembered forever if I became a triple-champion in three different industries? The boxing one I probably could get done, they just make up belts left and right.
"The wrestling one I intend to do but something about becoming a UFC champ seems really f***ing hard. Those guys are tough especially in my weight class. I think my weight class is [Alex] Pereira right now, yeah, right! Yeah, right I'm fighting that soldier! Yeah, right - maybe though."
