Here is our monthly round-up of the criminals who have been locked up for some of the most serious crimes in Wales over the past month.
They include an intoxicated arsonist who set fire to the front door of a family's home, a 56-year-old who made crack cocaine in the kitchen of her home and sold it to addicts through the window, and a man who smashed the window of his ex-partner's home and pointed at gun at her and her daughter.
There was also a woman who stabbed herself and then pointed the finger of blame at her former partner - leading to his arrest by armed police.
