Community rocked after unruly behaviour at shops escalates to alleged knife crime

A brawl involving a group of people that resulted in the alleged stabbing of two teenagers outside the Calwell Shopping Centre on Friday night has shocked local shoppers and business owners.

While some shopkeepers lamented persistent issues with theft, break-ins and unruly young people, others insisted that violence on this scale is extremely rare for the area.
