Locals have claimed a south London university’s plans to build a 29-metre tower in the middle of their neighbourhood would erode community life.
Residents surrounding Kingston University said the proposed education building would overshadow their village green, which they fought hard to protect, as well as people’s homes, neighbouring schools and a rare chalk stream.
