Locals fume as London's richest borough to let second homeowners buy parking permits to raise cash

London RBKC Kensington and Chelsea Council LDRS Chelsea Kensington

Residents fear they’ll have to park even further away from their homes if a West London council follows through with a proposal to allow second homeowners to have parking permits.

Kensington and Chelsea Council said the move would help plug a revenue gap caused by a gradual fall in residents’ parking permits in the borough since 2013.
