A local contestant on The Chase managed to take home £5,000 after beating The Beast in a nail-biting final chase.
Tuesday afternoon's edition of the show saw the quartet of hopefuls Keith, Carole, Molly and Charlie take on Mark Labbett, one of the most feared Chasers on the ITV quiz show.
But it was Keith from the Lothians who stood out after the 59-year-old bagged himself and his team an impressive £6,000 in the cash builder round. The clinical phycologist also revealed in his spare time he performs as a pantomime dame and has done for the last 12 years.

Host Bradley Walsh, who was intrigued by Keith's hobby asked if there was any particular type of dame he enjoyed playing best, but the Scottish quizzer said he usually plays the same character, describing himself as a 'one trick pony', reports the Record.
Keith added that with his winnings, he would travel to Vietnam or China with his wife - a prospect which looked like it could become a reality after all four contestants made it through to the final chase.
The team's good fortunes continued when they beat The Beast with just seconds to spare and despite the win, viewers were convinced the team were destined for failure having only answered 17 questions correctly.
However, it was The Beast that wasn't firing on all cylinders as a number of questions answered wrong and long pauses meant the team came away with £20,000 between them.
After their victory, fans took to Twitter to congratulate the team for their amazing win. One said: "That was a brilliant game The Beast rushing to answer a question that hasn't even been asked yet was hilarious! #TheChase."
Another penned: "#TheChase amazing game today congratulations team on a fantastic performance." A third added: "Once again on ITVs #TheChase @MarkLabbett put his foot in his mouth by saying he was going to make the final contestant look like a proper Charlie."
"Great run even with not many pushbacks. The full house helped #TheChase," a fourth tweeted.
