Lucknow: Intense lobbying has begun for the upcoming Rajya Sabha and Legislative Council polls in Uttar Pradesh, voting for which will be held on October 16 and October 23 respectively.

The lobbying is intense among the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Samajwadi Party (SP), the two parties who will be able to ensure the victory of their candidates on the basis of their strength in the Assembly.
